My intent is to have a small group of 6-9 children that come to the farm for an hour each day and enjoy one of my favorite Read Aloud chapter books. The children should bring their own blanket to each session so that we can sit and spread out in the shade while they listen and enjoy a few chapters of the Read Aloud for the week.
Each registered child will receive their own drawstring bag filled with their own new copy of the Read Aloud book, a clipboard, notebook, crayons, Sharpie, and pencils. The children will be required to take their bags home at the end of each session and bring their bag back with them the following day when we continue the story. At the end of the week, the children will keep their drawstring bags, chapter books, and all supplies.
I will be reading a few chapters to the children during each session and also implementing Think Aloud strategies, Reading Comprehension skills, and incorporating FUN graphic organizers and games as we read together.
Payment is NOT required until the start of the first session date. The cost for the 3 hour sessions and all material/supplies would be $50 per child.
